This is the mighty Tolvanen Rapture developed in conjunction with Australian guitar legend, Rex Goh. This guitar went through a number of prototypes before it reached this point and ended up as our flagship model (along with the JN316). Rex is only satisfied with the absolute best and we believe that the Tolvanen Rapture is an international quality instrument that will satisfy the most discerning players. Besides utilising the absolute best tone woods, the Tolvanen Rapture is fitted with either 2 hand wound, Australian-made P90s by Mick Brierley or twin alnico humbuckers. However, a variety of different pickups from other manufacturers are also available.
Prices start from $1850 (shown in pic) and go to $2250 for the quilt or flame maple model with matching headstock.

- Body - Contoured, bound Mahogany with maple cap.
- Pickups - We recommend 2 HAND WOUND Australian made Alnico P90s or humbuckers by Mick Brierley. Other pickups by SD, Dimarzio etc available.
- Neck - Select rosewood fretboard (12"radius) on a QUARTERSAWN mahogany neck (24.75" scale). Binding.
- Nut - Bone
- Electrics - 3 way switch, high quality pots, wiring and Sprague caps
- Tuners - Gotoh or Grover 3 a side
- Bridge - Combo bridge/tailpiece traditional style or classic tailpiece and bridge.
- Finish - A variety of colours are available. Classic black shown in pic.
- Options - Flame or quilt maple cap (see below), 2 humbuckers instead of the P90s, traditional bridge and tailpiece

A truly beautiful instrument that sounds as good as it looks. This guitar has a beautiful quilt maple cap with a matching headstock. All the tone that you could possibly want with a neck that is fast and smooth.
This particular guitar has two sensational pickups which combine the chime and jangle of vintage Filtertrons with the warmth and body of a great pair of vintage PAFs. They are also wound really HOT. The result? Beautiful, toneful sounds that can be as sweet as you like or will peel paint off the walls at a hundred paces! Additionally, there is absolutely no hum.

3. Tolvanen JN316

With a two piece mahogany body and vintage, hand-wound, Australian-made pickups by Mick Brierley, this guitar really sings. Match it up with a neck as smooth and straight as you will ever find and you have the ultimate in tone and playability. Great for rock, pop and jazz. Brilliant for all you country chick'n pick'n guitarists who want the classic "bite" but with added depth, definition and warmth. No thin or brittle sounds here!
Price ranges from $1650 (see pic) to $1900 for flame or quilt maple with matching headstock.

Tolvanen guitars offers unique patterned finishes (or unique caps) that totally individualise your guitar. No pattern is ever repeated so you can be sure that the Tolvanen guitar that you own is a one-off.
